ALL FABRIC SOLD IN HALF METRE INCREMENTS
Prices quoted on each
item in our online store are per half metre.
Specify the length by entering the number of units you require in the box to the left of your screen under the 'Add to Cart' button. Then click the button.
Your fabric will be cut as continuous meterage.
1/2m = 1 unit
1m = 2 units
1.5m = 3 units
If you visit our shop in
person, or call us during business hours (see below) and
order over the phone, we will happily cut other amounts for you.
If a product listing has several choices, for example different colourways, those available are listed. If any is unavailable for selection, this means it is sold out.
If you are unable to add your required amount of a product to your cart, this means there is less available. We're sorry our shop does not have the ability to show how much is left at the moment.
Because we run a retail store as well as online, it is possible we may have sold out of an item before updating this portal. In such circumstances we we will contact you, say a very sincere 'sorry!' and arrange for a refund or replacement to suit you.
We have made our best efforts to photograph and replicate colours of fabrics accurately on this site. Please be aware that different computer screens may display colours differently.
POSTAGE WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Postage & packing is a flat rate of $10 per order across Australia.
We will pack and post your order within a maximum of three working days, usually much sooner. If your order is urgent please leave a note at checkout because we may be able to arrange Express Post. We do our best to help!
We use Australia Post and all orders paying the $10 postage rate will be sent in trackable parcels. If you wish to track your item or follow up on a late parcel please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you're outside Australia, we'd still love to help you. Postage varies enormously depending on weight and destination so there's no automatic option on our site. Get in touch via the 'Contact' tab up the top, let us know what we're after and we'll send you a quote.
SINGLE PATTERN POSTAGE - SPECIAL RATE
We can mail most single patterns - sometimes two patterns depending on size - anywhere in Australia in an envelope for $5 (this is the actual cost to us). Unfortunately, this cannot be accurately managed via our website. If you would like to take advantage of this, we can make the transaction by credit card over the phone. Call (08) 7324 5883 during our business hours: Wed - Fri 10am - 4pm, Sat 12noon - 4pm, Australian Central Standard Time. This can only be done directly over the phone - please no messages or emails. Please note these envelopes are not tracked.
SORRY, NO WHOLESALE
We are a small, independent retailer and do not keep large amounts of stock. Occasionally we are able to provide a discount for 10+ metres of a single fabric if it is one we stock regularly. Many of our fabrics are not repeated and stocked in quantitites of less than 10 metres.
CAN OUR FABRICS BE USED FOR CURTAINS AND UPHOLSTERY?
We're often asked this; it's probably the name 'Drapery'. In our case we mean like an old-fashioned Draper's Store, rather than window drapes. Some of our fabrics can be used for such purposes but we don't stock fabrics that are specifically produced and tested for hanging in windows or high-use upholstery. Additionally, we may not stock the quantities you require. However, for example, many of our printed mid-weight linen/cottons would make lovely small curtains, e.g. for a child's room. Customers have also used our natural linens for curtains. Please just bear in mind the final use of the fabrics is up to you :)
